I have to add that Richs Ace was a beauty he was taken to the cleaners in a 2 round challenge... Bring on the 2 nd leg mega come back!!!!

Seriously though, fantastic shot for the ace... and about 3 metals he had on the day as well.. just need to learn to putt!

Sunday 9 May 2010, aced #1 with my first throw of the Hyzer Cup.

Gusting 10-15mph wind coming down the fairway and too the right, time for the heavy, stable mid (180g KC Roc) to punch it's way through.

There was a good-feeling rip as it came out my hand. Starting out right of centre of the bush right of the basket, flew on a constant hyzer right into the heart.

About 2/3s of the way down the fairway the line looked good and I thought 'that could be in'. The subsequent smash of chains was music to my ears. If only the club chairman had not suspended the ace pot for duration of the event!
