FOR THE CROYDON WORLD PARTY/ MELA.
We have been invited to take part in the Croydon music festival this year. As one of the few clubs who use the park on a regular basis this is a perfect opportunity to showcase our Club and Sport to a couple of thousand people.
we will be using the area aroundthe basket of hole 7 to make a putting green with putting competitions and challenges forming the basis of the weekend. We want to sell the sport/club and promote the family element to the unsuspecting Croydon public.
We are looking to get the leaflets out to as many people as possible, collect as many emails as possible so that we can continue to promote ourselves.
We are allowed to take the Bongo down to the site, have a couple of tables and chairs down there so things should be reasonable comfortable.
I am looking for volunteers to help out on one or both of the days.
I am working the Saturday so will be taking on the Sunday Shift. Jerry has indicated that he may be around for both days. I know some of you are off to Whitcombe so you are excused, but those who are not please come forward and get involved in this extremely good opportunity to enlarge the membership.
