If you plan to run a course as a business talk to Del who runs Quarry Park.

Croydon is a public park and free to play when ever you fancy turning up. We're hoping more like it are set up around the country, but there is a place for people buying land and charging to use a well designed, purpose made course. Del spent years planting hundreds of trees and manages to run the business as well as having a "proper" job. He charges £5 for a round or £8 for the day. Not sure how much membership is, but members play free.

Please don't do what the company I just found in my home town does and make a little short 9 as part of an outdoor activity centre and charge £10 for a round! That just gives a bad impression of a sport which is essentially an open and accessible sport.

Hope your venture goes well. Would be interesting to see an Irish event on the tour schedule in the future
