This has now been found thanks to the lovely lady with the springer spaniel who she has always insisted was a great disc hunter who has collected many discs. I told her roughly where it had been lost and about twenty minutes later she handed over the disc I had looked for for ages on three separate occasions.

If you've lost a disc, if no one else can find it, and if you can can find her, maybe you could hire the disc hunter lady and her dog!
