Rich H and I are looking at Sunday 10 January for the QP Team visit to Croydon. Don't book any holiday's just yet...but keep it free. Will confirm asap.

I want to make a video of the 2nd leg, I meant to do this for the first leg but never got round to it!

As we can't pay a film crew for the day I would like you all to become the cameramen/women. If everyone with a digital camera can bring it along and take film and photos of the whole day and rounds as they progress, preferably with segments every third hole or so giving an update of scores etc. that would be great.

I will then give you all access to my works FTP where you can upload the video/photos and I can then put these all together to make a 15 - 20 minute video together of the whole day, hopefully telling a story as it goes, and remember the more you film the more your story will be included!

Right now the first leg is behind us its time to organise the 2nd - no rest for the wicked.

Date: 10th January 2010
Time: Approximately 9.30 start - Please arrive for about 8:45 at the latest for a players meeting.
Place: Lloyd Park, Croydon

Format: Quarry Park Rangers vs. Croydon Disc golf club, 2 legged event. Morning, Doubles match play, afternoon, singles match play - format for the doubles will be modified best disc. Number of participants to be decided. Quarry Park have a 17 to 8 and a half point lead from the first leg.

Singles will be seeded to avoid one sided match ups. Doubles pairings will be decided by Captains prior to the day and should avoid the need for seeding.

A live draw will take place a few days before the event.

No food will be provided during the day so please remember to bring your own.

Cost: £5 only to those Quarry Park players that didn't pay Derek for the first leg (Paid up annual Quarry Park members or those with lifelong memberships) Free for all other players. Proceeds will be put towards the development of the Croydon club.

I think I have contacted all regular local Quarry Park players via email/facebook/phone, but if not and you would like to play please contact me by private message or on this forum thread. Croydon players - please contact Jester. Final numbers have not yet been decided on but if the need arises preference will be given to those players that played in the first leg.

Whilst Jester and myself will make every attempt to get in touch with all players in the week before the event it is the responsibility of the players to contact their respective Captains a week before to confirm their attendance. Please note this is in addition to the players original agreement to play.

As at the first leg at QP there will be 1.5 extra points on offer at Croydon:

½ point for longest drive on hole 6 (measured from the tee)
½ point for closest to the pin on hole 7 (measured from the pin)
½ point for closest 2nd shot to the pin on hole 13 (measured from the pin)
