Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives. By doing sport, having fun and raising money, everyone can do good and feel good. All the money raised is spent helping poor and disadvantaged people turn their lives around - in the UK as well as the world’s poorest countries. The next Sport Relief Weekend is from Friday 19th - Sunday 21st March

One of the main things they do is the 'sport relief mile', where people run or walk a mile for sponsorship. It occurred to me that a mile is 1609m, and the Croydon course is 1683m, which is a pretty good match.
I think it would be an excellent idea to do a 'disc golf mile', a one-disc challenge to complete the course as quickly as possible, and combine it with an introduction to disc golf day/session, all while raising as much money as possible.
The nearest running mile is Beckenham on the Sunday, so Sat 20th would be best.
Even if it's just the 20 or so of us who play in the Hyzer Cup we could still raise a decent total.
What do you reckon?
