Hey everyone,

I'm going to be in Soho for two weeks on business. Was thinking of taking transit down to check out the course

Unfortunately I forgot to bring my discs. Since I'm going to be taking public transit, I'm wondering where a good location to buy a few discs is... either close to Soho or close to the park (or somewhere in between I guess). Probably just a putter and a couple drivers.

Also if anyone is interested in joining up for a round some evening during the week or next weekend, let me know.

Welcome Gabe!

Unfortunately discs are only available on mail order in the UK. Check out Disc Zoo . You would always be welcome to borrow discs if you are coming down. Just post in the "meet at Lloyd park" section or keep an eye on it to see who's playing when.

We are always delighted when anyone from out of town comes down and you will find everyone very friendly and accommodating.

Times when there will definately be people around are Wednesdays at 6pm, Sundays at 11am and Saturdays at 9am.

Hm, thanks for the info.

I'm concocting a plan to buy some discs on my way to the airport. Looks like it will work out.

Hey thanks for the responses guys. I managed to snag some plastic on my way to the airport so I should be in good shape.

I have a flat in Pimlico for the week, thinking of taking transit out for a round tomorrow. Is there a regular group on Sundays?

I made it down and played the course yesterday solo. The weather was beautiful if a bit breezy (is that often the case?).

The layout and pin placements was very well put together. I especially liked 3,7,8 and 16. I come from one of the major centers of disc golf (www.discgolfstore.com/courses/minnesota.shtml), so it's nice to see a course that hasn't been trampled into dirt yet.

A lot of people traversing the park! There were a couple teenagers making out under 18. When I told them to watch out they just stared at me blankly, but I didn't hit them

Hope to actually meet some of you chaps next time I'm in London.
