Hi and welcome to a new sport. DISC GOLF.

You have probably found your way to this site because you have received one of our leaflets. Thank you for being inquisative enough to check us out.

Disc Golf is a sport hailing from the U.S. Based on the rules of stick and ball golf we use specially designed Frisbees(tm) instead of clubs and balls. We use a basket on a pole instead of a hole in the ground. (see picture!)

Although Disc Golf has been played in the UK for 30 years you have probably never heard about it; until now!

Disc Golf in a simple game, taking 10 minutes to learn and a life time to master. It's a game for all ages. After all, everyone can throw a frisbee.

We play most Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and will be holding "Have a Go" sessions throughout the Summer. Please come and try a fun sport that all your friends and family will love.

Disc Golf is very inexpensive to play. When you come to the Disc Golf Course at Lloyd Park that we have built for you, we will lend you some discs to play with. We'll teach you the throws that you will need and let you enjoy playing around in the park!! Check back here for dates of upcoming "Have a Go!" events in the near future...
